One Room Challenge (Week 2 Update)

Happy Easter!! We have the cabinetry, paint color and tiles picked out!

My focus has been to locate the right cabinetry and the correct color for the wall, which I finally picked out after receiving the samples from ClarePaint.

I chose the color "Fresh Kicks" from the white color sample I ordered. After testing all the colors during various hours of the days, my friend and I finally nailed one down.

During the next few days, I will be working on removing the baseboard and making room to install the cabinets. I was able to pick one up in person and ordered the other pieces. Thanks to my friends over at The Home Depot for sponsoring part of this challenge.

This is the biggest piece for the project. My plan is to install all the cabinetry, tile and paint last. I am most excited for the tiling because I have never done it before and I cannot wait to learn a new skill.
