Where did time go?!! -- I cannot believe that six weeks already went by and we are approaching the end of this fantastic experience.

I didn't post for week 5, so I am combining weeks 5 and 6 in this post. During the last couple of weeks, I challenged myself to remodel the dining room area in my apartment. As a renter I am very limited to the changes I can make to my space, but that doesn't mean I cannot spice it up a bit. Since I am allowed to paint, I took full advantage of this perk and painted all the walls that surrounded my dining area.

It wasn't an easy process -- It took me hours! Countless nights and weekends were spent working on all these projects, and I could not be happier with the results.

When I signed up to be a guest participant of the @oneroomchallenge by @betterhomesandgardens I wasn't even sure of what was to come. My ideas and projects kept evolving as the weeks progressed, and I had so many moments that made me doubt the entire process, but I kept pushing through it.

I experienced failures and moments of great joy, but I never gave up. I kept pushing through it and focusing on the end result.

From building a table to chasing furniture that wasn't available for weeks, I had my fair share of doubts, but every week I could see the progress and how the space kept changing, and that kept fueling my ideas and inspiration.

It is crazy to think that my space looked like no one had lived here for years, but the changes over the weeks kept transforming my renter space into a home.

Because I spend so much time at home, I wanted to make sure that my space reflected how I felt internally. I am a happy and joyful person, and my space did not reflect that, which is why I wanted to change it.

As I said in my previous posts, I have an eclectic and bold personality, and my remodeled space reflects that.

There are some finishing touches that need to be made, and hopefully everything will arrive within the next couple of days.

I will post again towards the end of next week with the final photos and the grand reveal of the entire space, but for now I want to thank you for your incredible support and for being the best cheerleader. I could not have done it without the support of this incredible community.

Please check out the amazing work of the other guest participants and designers that worked tirelessly on the #ORC blog

Thanks again, and stay fabulous! :)
